About the event
Make transitions easier! Learn strategies for helping your toddler cope with change. We’ll practice using transition songs, clear verbal cues, and visual schedules to manage shifts in activity without a meltdown all while playing games that practice body control, self-regulation and social awareness. Parents and caretakers will learn about why these activities work, as well as strategies they can do at home to build their child's self-regulation skills. Children need to wear active shoes.
Led by a local educator, neuroscience specialist, and mother of 2, Brittany Miller.
