In our family and team coaching, we work with the entire unit to create a shared understanding of executive functions. This fosters open communication and collaborative problem-solving, leading to positive relationships.

Executive Function Coaching Process

This process is a collaborative, three-stage journey designed to help you understand the challenges from a neuroscience perspective and build a customized roadmap of actionable strategies for success.

Stage 1: Discover & Understand

Initial Assessment: We will explore the specific challenges and strengths of all individuals involved, the issues that you are looking to address, and what you have tried.

Building the "Why": We'll dive in connecting behaviors to their executive function, and work to reframe the narrative from one of blame or shame to one of understanding.​

Defining Success: We will collaboratively set clear, realistic, and meaningful goals to directly address the challenges. 

Stage 2: Strategize & Implement

Actionable Strategies: I will introduce you to the applicable neuroscience around executive function with proven, practical strategies to address behavior and develop these skills.

Customized Systems: We'll co-create a personalized system that is tailored to your unique brain or the brain of your child. The key is to build a system that works and can be sustained.

Consistent Practice: We will use small, consistent steps to build new habits. We'll practice these in our sessions and in your daily life, making adjustments along the way.

Stage 3: Reflect & Thrive

Ongoing Reflection: We'll regularly check in to reflect on what's working and what's not. This feedback loop is essential for continuous growth.

Self-Advocacy: You will learn to recognize your own needs, discuss the needs of those around you, and confidently communicate them in a professional or personal setting. 

Empowered Future: You'll leave our coaching with a powerful set of tools and a new mindset. You'll not only be able to manage your challenges but also to leverage your unique strengths to unlock your full potential.
